It’s that time of year: Time to think about clearing the decks and preparing for bucket loads of sun, and what better way to do that than on a boat called the Majesty 88.
For this spring shoot we’ve used two of world’s fastest growing franchise brands – Reiss and Koton – and their exclusive spring/summer collections. Reiss is a fashion-led UK brand, while Koton began in Turkey, where many of the world’s most prestigious brands are made.
Reiss’s collection is packed full with classy, but affordable, suits, shirts and ties. The Reiss silhouette is classic, very 50s, with their jackets being a cornerstone of their looks. Like many brands that retail for twice the price, Reiss uses superfine wools and wool mohairs. Other features include metallic trims, bold stripes in red and yellow. They also stock boat shoes in reds and blues, tonal coloured loafers and off-white leather boots as well as scarves, hats and neckerchiefs.
If Reiss could carry you around any formal occasion the Koton range is especially strong for men and is aimed at making you the king of casual wear. Highlights for men include their sleeveless sweaters, white jackets, cargo trousers and faded blue denim jeans. Their sunglasses, too, would help you hold your own at any pool party.
Both brands also stock healthy collections for women and as you’re about to see - Koton’s swimsuits have come up especially well. What better way to showcase a collection than to walk the boardwalk onto nautical masterpiece like the “88”. The “88” is one of Gulf Craft’s finest superyachts fitted with every luxury a globe-trotting, trend-setting cad, and his friends, could ever want. This baby has two staterooms, a dining room, two helm points, a bar, jacuzzi and a barbecue. Its powerplant ain’t shabby either. It’s powered by twin 1,800 horse power engines with a fuel capacity of 3,000 US gallons – enough for a lengthy float around the Gulf.
