Mega Fox

Megan Fox could not have a more appropriate last name, or have starred in a better movie as the love interest. If the millions of men who went to see Transformers are to be believed, then Megan is unbelievably foxy and certainly “more than meets the eye”.

Transformers, which emerged as a cartoon in the early 80s, has quickly become the most unlikely film any man under 40 has to see twice and can also take the kids to see. Indeed, in Men’s Style’s office it’s the subject we now raise with people who either really bore us, or interest us – and it ain’t just because of the machines.

Paramount Pictures and producer Tom DeSanto were right in realizing how cool the first Transformer movie was (in the 80s) and that Generation-X men had forgotten how much they enjoyed watching Optimus Prime go toe-to-toe with Megatron. And director Michael Bay did a brilliant job in recreating the mayhem during the monumental tech-fight scenes. Like Shrek was, Transformers has become the most unlikely film of 2007 to speak to boys and men, as well as women, who just want to be entertained while the good guys win.

The machines and special affects aside, Fox is a huge part of this movie’s appeal. She’s 21, athletic and simply oozes sex appeal in much the same vein as Angelina Jolie (Fox also has some intriguing tattoos). Her career started in earnest during the TV series Hope & Faith, she also starred alongside the Olsen twins in Holiday in the Sun and now she’s dealing with a host of other film offers.

But lets face it – who cares, for the details really? The only real question is: Who’s she dating? Good question…and one that is yet to have widespread confirmation, although Brian Green, who once starred in Beverley Hills 90210, is rumoured to be in like Flynn. Then again, if this relationship goes the same way just about every Hollywood relationship has in the past 50 years then YOU could be in with a shot at around the same time Transformers II is due out.
